Volunteer Job Vacancies

VOLUNTEERS WANTED
Will you consider volunteering
at the museum? We rely on people
to keep the museum running. Without
the help of volunteers we cannot
keep the museum open. We
currently have specific vacancies for:

DRILL INSTRUCTOR
Someone with a background in PE or
maybe a Drill Instructor, or just a good
actor. To help with visiting school groups.
Time commitment from an hour a week
in season.

ADMINISTRATOR
To work with the Chairman. You should
have a background in business admin or
office management. Help with keeping
our Museum records and with the
general running of the museum.
Time commitment: several hours a
week through the year.

GENERAL HANDYMAN
To take part in projects around the museum
including maintenance, constructions of
displays and general practical work. Time
commitment a few hours a week
throughout the year.

PROMOTION OFFICER
Working alongside the Chairman you will
work on ways to promote the museum.
You should be capable of public speaking.
Time commitment: flexible

WEB DESIGNER
You can be based anywhere as long as you
are connected to the Internet! The development of
our website is a critical part of our future. We need
someone with good web skills and massive
commitment to help us make our website
one of the best on the net.

STEWARDS
Needed throughout the season for a minimum of
one morning or afternoon a week.
