How to find us

This link will provide an interactive map

From Minehead take the A39 towards Porlock. After about 4 miles you will see a turning to Selworthy and signs to the National Trust Holnicote Estate. Continue on the A39 for a further mile and you will come to a sharp bend towards the left and a right hand turn into the village of Allerford. (There is a brown "attraction" signpost) As you approach the village you will see the Packhorse Bridge in front of you. Bear left and you will almost immediately come to a free car park on your left. Park there and the Victorian School and Museum is immediately opposite.

If you are approaching from the Porlock direction, about a mile after leaving the village of Porlock you will come to a sharp bend and a sign pointing left towards the village of Allerford. Turn left and continue as above. Alternatively you may follow the signposts (as you leave Porlock) towards Bossington. When you reach Bossington, you turn right towards Allerford and Minehead. After a mile you will see the free car park on your right. The Bossington route is picturesque but does involve travelling on narrow roads.
